About Gather Ummah
We built Gather Ummah so UK Muslims can find lectures, fundraisers, sisters' programmes, youth circles, and family events without relying on scattered WhatsApp forwards and social feeds alone.
Our purpose
Muslim community life in Britain is rich — masjids, charities, student societies, and grassroots groups run events every week. Too often, the same details are reposted across multiple channels, and people in a new city or during busy seasons like Ramadan struggle to see what is actually on.
Gather Ummah centralises free, public listings in one searchable place. Browse by city or category, RSVP where organisers enable it, and discover programmes near you or online.
Who we serve
- Community members looking for Islamic talks, iftars, Eid gatherings, sisters-only sessions, children's activities, and charity events.
- Mosques and Islamic centres that want a simple, free way to reach people beyond their existing channels.
- Charities and voluntary groups promoting fundraisers, campaigns, and community programmes.
- Organisers — verified masjids and independent hosts — who need a straightforward listing they can manage from a profile.
How it works
Events are submitted by organisers and reviewed before going live. Listings appear on event detail pages, city browse pages (for example Muslim events in Manchester), and category pages. Most events on the platform are free to attend; we do not charge organisers to publish.
We also publish guides on the blog and maintain an Islamic calendar with links to relevant community listings.
Press & partnerships
For press enquiries, partnership discussions, or questions about listing policies, contact us at privacy@gatherummah.com. We welcome collaborations that help UK Muslims discover trustworthy community programmes.
Organisers can submit an event for free or read our guide to promoting mosque and community events.
